As California’s AB 2429 takes effect for the 2026-2027, it is now required for high school health courses to teach the dangers of fentanyl. The Riverside County Office of Education has released a free Fentanyl Awareness Curriculum to help districts meet that requirement. The curriculum gives educators vetted, age-appropriate lessons that build awareness, support decision-making, and help students recognize and respond to an overdose. As a Temecula-based company, we are glad to see these resources reaching students and families in our community.
